Our story

Two groomers,one simple rule.

Nina and Jonah Park met in 2012 at grooming school in Raleigh. Nina was the one with perfect scissor lines. Jonah was the one every terrier liked.

They spent the next seven years at busy salons where one person bathed, another dried and a third clipped, and dogs waited in cage dryers in between. In 2019 they rented a corner of the Hollins hosiery mill, a brick building that made socks for 70 years, and opened a salon with one rule: one groomer, one dog, start to finish.

  1. 2012Nina and Jonah meet at grooming school.
  2. 2019The Fluff Factory opens in Hollins Mill with two tables.
  3. 2021The quiet back room opens, and Calm Lane begins.
  4. 2024The team grows to five groomers and two bathers.
  5. Today15,000+ grooms, and Mochi and Pickles still come to work every day.
