Who board & train isn't right for

We don't take dogs with serious aggression toward people or a bite history. Those dogs deserve a behavior specialist and a plan built around their home, and we're happy to refer you to one.

Dog reactivity and resource guarding are assessed case by case at the evaluation. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you somewhere better.

If your dog needs more time

Most dogs are ready right on schedule. If yours needs a few more days, your trainer will talk it through with you first. Extra days are billed at the tune-up rate, never as a surprise.

No. 04 Getting started

From inquiryto drop-off day

Most families start two to six weeks after their first call.

  1. Inquire online

Five minutes: your dog, your goals and the start month you're hoping for.

  2. A 20-minute call

Hannah or a trainer calls you. We talk honestly about whether board & train is the right fit.

  3. Farm evaluation

60 minutes on the farm, $95, credited to your program. Bring your dog and your vet records.

  4. Pick a start date

A $500 deposit holds your spot. You get a packing list and a drop-off time.

  5. Drop-off day

Kennel walk-through, a handoff to your trainer, and the first video before supper.
