Camp extras & add-ons.
Grooming at the Wash House, one-on-one Skill Sessions, the Camp Bus, and small-group Field Trips on local trails. Add any of them to a camp day.

Go home clean, not campy.
Our groomers work right inside Main Camp, so your dog can get a bath between Field Day and pick-up with no separate appointment and no extra drive.
- Go-Home Bath from $35: shampoo, blow-dry, brush-out and a pine-scented spritz
- Full groom from $65: bath, haircut, nails and ears
- Nail trim $15, any camp day
Boarding guests can add a Go-Home Bath on their last day, so they come home smelling like a forest, not like a sleepover.

Fifteen minutes, one on one.
A certified trainer pulls your dog from group play for a focused, reward-based training session during the camp day. Pick a goal and we'll send notes and a short video home.
- Manners: polite greetings, sit-stay, settle on a mat
- Leash walking on the camp loop
- Recall across Field Day Field
- Confidence building for shy campers
Skill Sessions are how most dogs earn their Skills merit badges. See the badges.
The Camp Bus comes to you.
The Camp Bus is an air-conditioned van with secured crates, driven by a counselor. It picks up campers within 8 miles of Main Camp on two morning routes and brings them home on two evening routes.
- Morning pickups 7:00 to 9:00am
- Evening drop-offs 4:30 to 6:30pm
- A text when the bus is 10 minutes away

Small-group hikes on real trails.
Four well-matched campers, one guide and a few miles of local trail. Field Trips run Tuesday and Thursday mornings on dog-friendly routes around Asheville, and every hiker comes back muddy, happy and ready for Rest Hour.
- Groups of four, matched by pace
- Long lines, water, snacks and a first-aid kit
- Three hikes earns the Field Trip Explorer badge
Available to campers who have attended at least five camp days.
